Year-round, my husband's family has a wonderful way of remembering and celebrating their loved ones. Often time, this is done through food. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to meet my husband's maternal grandparents, but I feel their loving spirit every time I visit the Karsons.  The recipes and traditions they passed down are something very special. My husband makes homemade raviolis as a tribute to his grandparents and the wonderful memories those family meals brought. It is a perfect side dish for turkey - wouldn't you agree?!!

I love setting the Thanksgiving table each year. This year, we're using Adam's grandmother's lace table cloth, his mom's china and few pieces I brought up to PA from our studio. It is perfectly imperfect, and I absolute love it.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
