Thank you Parents for featuring Baby Elliott’s first birthday party!
“While some brides opt to include all of their friends in the wedding party (a dozen bridesmaids do make for incredible photos!), others choose to keep the group more intimate or skip the wedding party altogether. The choice is totally up to you, but either way, there’s a good chance you’ve got a few friends who don’t quite make the cut — but still mean the world to you. Since you still love these ladies (and gents!) more than anything, you might find yourself looking for other ways to include them in your wedding celebration. Well, you’re in luck! We spoke to wedding planners across the country for their favorite ways for brides to include their non-bridesmaid friends in the wedding — you’ll love what they came up with!” – Jamie Schoen

Vox reporter and wedding videographer Johnny Harris’ insightful news video “What I’ve learned about wedding prices from working in the industry” shines a light on all that goes into wedding pricing, and the consumer experience in shopping the marketplace. We were happy to give our input from the perspective of wedding vendors. Thanks for including us Vox!
The Knot published a special LGBTQ issue in 2015, and made it available as a digital version you can access in the link above! We were so proud to have Matt + Josh’s Cape Cod Proposal included in this national issue. What a historic year 2015 was for our country and the rights of all people to marry who they love. We are proud supporters of all unions, and applaud The Knot for publishing an issue specifically for the LGBTQ community.
Vox Wedding’s video tackles the burning question of why weddings are so expensive. We were happy to weigh in. As seen on The Huffington Post.
“Destination weddings and other personal events provide specific creative challenges and payoffs for producers, planners, and designers. The event teams take inspiration from local culture for decor, food, entertainment, and activities, and build out intricate structures and decor elements, frequently in places where there is no existing infrastructure. These weddings and private parties in destinations including Bali, Maui, Palm Springs, Jackson Hole, Portugal, and other locations around the world offer plenty inspiration for corporate and social events of all kinds.
Karson Butler Events planned a wedding at Monserrate Palace in Sintra, Portugal, where the team incorporated the patterned carvings of the 19th-century walls into the event design. The custom laser-cut invitation suite and even the cake showcased patterns found in the intricate palace walls.”- Biz Bash, July 20, 2015
