This past weekend we tackled a fun project off the list. Our studio interior is entirely white painted brick (which we love!) with the exception of one lone interior wall that is white drywall.  It was screaming for something fun and we simply couldn't leave it white.  We decided to add a chalkboard wall with custom illustrations by the talented Mary Laurel with Anchor B -- the amazing illustrator behind the poppies in our logo and many other fun projects we've worked with her on this past year.  We're meeting with Mary Laurel this week to finalize the fun plans we have for finishing the wall with chalk illustration, but in the meantime, wanted to share our progress with you!

The existing white beams really stand out against the dark wall!  Love the contrast!

Here's a reminder of what the wall looked like before:

I love the way my inspiration board pops against the dark wall!  Isn't it crazy how paint can transform a space?  Stay tuned for the completed wall transformation coming soon!  So many exciting plans for the space!
